When I started making films in 2003, there wasn’t a centralized place to find information about making documentary films. I intend Women Documentary Filmmakers to change that.”
— Sue Vicory
The focus of Women Documentary Filmmakers (WDF) is to highlight female documentary filmmakers from around the world. We believe in giving women opportunities to further their projects and a central hub to grow their network. WomenDocumentaryFilmmakers.com is a centralized website with the capability of profiling the work of female documentary filmmakers from around the world. Our hub members receive special benefits such as resources, networking directories, and the ability to submit films to be featured on our home page. Film trailers, teasers and shorts are available to all, including film festival selection committees and distributors. A link to the film’s website or filmmaker’s IMDb will allow direct connection to each project. The films are categorized for easy access and available for viewing for up to 30 days.
